This week Dandelion delivered it’s first Thought Leadership Forum at the Digital Hub in Dublin. Sponsored by the International Energy Research Centre (IERC), the topic was “Future Opportunities in Ireland’s Energy Efficiency Obligation Scheme (EEOS)” and was prepared for one of Ireland’s major energy utilities.

The forum covered three topics of common interest to the utility and the IERC: Energy Technology Evaluation methods, Energy Management Standards, and Business Models as applied to the EEOS.

A Knowledge Pack was developed. The pack simplifies the rules of the obligation scheme, allowing for clear communication across stakeholders. A significant output was the outline development of a Technology Evaluation Framework which will provide a simple way to vet energy technologies for consideration.
